Method 1: Reset forgotten Windows password with Boot CD

Step 1 – First, use your friend’s PC to download PCUnlocker ISO file, and then burn it to a blank CD or USB stick with the freeware ISO2Disc.
Step 2 – Once you’re prepare the boot CD or USB stick, insert it into your affected computer and boot from it. Make sure you have your BIOS set to boot from the optical drive or USB.
Step 3 – As soon as the PCUnlocker utility is launched on the screen, you’re able to reset Windows admin/user password easily. Simply select the user which you have either forgotten or are trying to hack into, and click on Reset Password button.
Step 4 – Once done, reboot your computer back to the Windows login screen. Your account will have no password!

Method 2: Restore your laptop to previous state

Step 1 – To start, you need to boot your PC from Windows installation DVD. When you get to the Windows Setup screen, click the Repair your computer link at the bottom-left corner.
Step 2 – Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore. The system restore wizard will open immediately, just click Next.
Step 3 – Select a most recent restore point that was created when you remember Windows password, and click Next.
Step 4 – Click on Finish to begin the System Restore.
Step 5 – When the System Restore has completed successfully, your computer will go back in time to a previous state and you can now log in to the Windows account.
